Film maker Jenny Ellis was commissioned by SBS to make this documentary about songwriter and poet Ian “Crow” Lowe. Crow was one of many Aboriginal boys stolen from their families and sent to live at the abusive Kinchela Boys Home in Kempsey. The often unspoken story of horror and abuse has haunted the survivors for over 5 decades. Crow has found a way to move past the pain, towards some form of healing through writing poetry and lyrics.
