Joelle is an Australian based film editor with more than two decades experience in editing award winning TVCs, short films, documentaries and television series.
Starting her career as an assistant editor at Sydney’s prestigious post production house Karl Marks Films - now The Editors, she learnt her craft from the best in the industry. From those early days her editing career took her around the world cutting a monthly television series in Tokyo for New York based broadcaster Global Japan followed by a return to France, her home country where she freelanced on a variety of film and television projects in Paris.
Back in Australia she continues to collaborate with creative people helping bring high quality editorial and creative solutions to any production, big or small.
Her editing highlights include Danny Ben Moshe's feature documentary China's Artful Dissident funded by Screen Australia and ABC, winner of the Award of Excellence at the Impact Docs Award 2019 and short-listed for the 2019 Documentary Walkley Awards, McCann's cinematic TVC campaign for Mantra Hotels, silver winner at the BADC awards, short film Mother which premiered in competition at MIFF and made it's international premiere at Interfilm in Berlin, ABC's 11 part series Wild Kitchen, nominated for a Logie Award, short film Tommy which premiered at the 2020 Flickerfest, Marcelle Lunam’s documentary Habana16 about Cuban youth culture, Festival Records' documentary on legendary singer - songwriter
Jimmy Little which toured many film festivals including Flickerfest and St Kilda's short film festival.
